Some hospitals offer glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy screenings. It also operates optical shops to provide affordable eyeglasses to patients, reducing the need for long travels. In the year 2019-2020, Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) made a significant impact by providing healthcare access to 916,006 individuals through hospital outpatient services, benefiting 236,028 people, including women and children, through health and wellbeing projects. Additionally, 42,064 community members received awareness of Palliative Care, while 90,339 people received appropriate in-patient healthcare and treatment. EHA performed a total of 33,395 surgeries and provided disaster management training to 3,518 individuals. Furthermore, 25,299 women in rural communities received safe maternity care, and 6,600 individuals received essential aid during disaster situations, including food, water, sanitary services, and medical care. Additionally, 21,036 families received dry ration support during the pandemic.
