Gnarly troop is a group of volunteers who are engaged in various social initiatives around the world, It is present in Turkey, Spain, Uruguay, Romania Read more, Nepal and Bangladesh besides India. It focusses its work on the four C’s namely climate, community, culture and co-operation. It works on various initiatives to provide humanitarian aid, protect human rights, promote culture and peace, encourage development and help in stable economic growth. It organises the GT summit which is attended by diplomats, professionals, social workers from all over the world. This summit provides a common platform where interaction between the representatives is encouraged. It is involved in encouraging sustainable organic coffee farming, sea turtle rescue, sustainable community development, Running orphanages for wildlife, tours to experience marine life and bottlenose dolphin conservation. It provides cultural tours to the public in India jointly with another organisation which includes pilgrimages to char dhaam. It also adopts villages for development and volunteers are engaged in social projects in these villages. Volunteers are also placed in charitable institutions and hospitals to gain experience in social work through this organisation.
