Its dedicated team extends its reach to remote corners of the nation, focusing on four distinct domains: Education, Health, Agriculture, and Capacity Building. It aims to forge a sustainable network encompassing Government institutions, Corporations, and Nonprofits, all dedicated to the comprehensive advancement of the country. Its goals are to establish connections between Government bodies, CSR entities, and grassroots organisations, to undertake initiatives in Education, Health, and Agriculture, and to augment the collective capacity for grassroots development. It constructs a platform that propels integrated development for the unreachable, adopting a multi-stakeholder approach to realize Sustainable Development Goals in India. It fosters synergy between corporate entities, grassroots organisations, and Government bodies to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth, maximizing efficiency in serving all segments of society. ISRN champions efficient networking, unifying NGOs, Corporations, Government, and the Community to expedite the realization of a shared vision for national development. Its overarching objective is to empower Voluntary Organizations (VOs) in India, facilitating their substantial contributions to the nation's progress. Through numerous capacity-building programmes since 2014, engaging over 2,500 participants, some in collaboration with institutions like NABARD, KVIC, BIRD, PHDCCI, and BSE, ISRN has organised 30 Training workshops.

Programs

  • Capacity Building Programmes

    This initiative encompasses the NGO Clinic, a dynamic platform facilitating interaction with numerous organisations across various channels, fostering engagement, and enhancing their capabilities. Through its Training Programmes, it empowers NGOs with cutting-edge strategies, tools, and specialized skills, enabling them to reach their full potential in both internal operations and community outreach. ISRN's Advocacy efforts involve organising programmes where participants delve into Government policies, laws, and applied policy analysis, essential in our evolving global landscape. These initiatives aim to equip individuals across Government, private sectors, and grassroots levels with the knowledge and practical skills needed to address sustainability issues effectively, fostering innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

  • Research and Development Programme

    ISRN conducts research for holistic development, collaborating with the Ministry of Culture to publish "Documentation of Antyodaya-based best practices," documenting 405 exemplary practices nationwide. It crafted a "Compendium of CSR Best Practices in India," featuring 25 commendable corporate and Voluntary Organisation initiatives. In Madhya Pradesh, ISRN conducted a pivotal baseline survey for a Village Development Plan under the "Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojna." In Alwar, Rajasthan, it assessed the need for toilets, aiding the village to become Open-Defecation Free. Partnering with CDFI, ISRN conducted a transformative pilot survey in Tripura, enhancing citizen access to government schemes. It also published "A JOURNEY OF SUCCESS," chronicling efforts to boost COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Meghalaya and Nagaland with JSIPL and USAID support. These efforts reflect ISRN's commitment to research-driven development.

  • Social Equality Programme

    ISRN aims to promote social equality through engagement in diverse sectors and communities. The organisation assists corporations in customizing CSR initiatives compliant with the Companies Act, 2013. Services include project management for milestone achievement, comprehensive support in CSR activity identification, agency selection, project design, implementation facilitation, monitoring, evaluation, documentation, reporting, and impact assessment. ISRN leverages its vast network of 800+ Voluntary Organisations across various social domains to facilitate CSR program partnerships, conducting due diligence and capacity building for chosen VOs.

  • Uttam School Programme

    The "Uttam School" model, adopted by Government schools and charities, improves education for underprivileged children with innovative methods and holistic development. ISRN's 8-year work in education impacted 50+ schools, transforming 45+, training 500+ teachers, and reaching 12,000+ students. It promotes smart learning, hygiene, clean energy, and confidence-building through concepts like "Child Mirror" and "Grievance Committee." This approach proved crucial during the pandemic, enabling digital education. ISRN aims to expand the Uttam School concept nationwide.

  • FPO Formation & Promotion Programme

    ISRN has been entrusted by Government agencies NAFED & SFAC to establish and manage 35 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) across four states: Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. ISRN plays a pivotal role in supporting these FPOs by facilitating credit and market linkages, along with providing technical training to more than 5,000 farmers. Market linkages have been established with major FMCG companies like Haldiram, Big Basket, Grofers, DIF, Patanjali, and Safal (Mother Dairy), fostering the economic viability and self-governance of these FPOs while creating an enabling environment for their growth and success.

  • Healthcare Programmes

    ISRN plays a pivotal role in extending essential healthcare services to vulnerable communities, ensuring accessibility to doorstep healthcare. Through collaborative efforts with Government, grassroots, and faith-based organisations, ISRN has orchestrated numerous vaccination campaigns against COVID-19, facilitating immunization services. It operates health centres, supports medical and para-medical staff, and offers free, timely healthcare services and check-ups, benefiting populations with limited access to dispensaries and Government hospitals, and promoting preventive, curative, and promotive healthcare measures.
