The Matrix Society has made contributions in the following areas: FPO and SHG formation and capacity building, HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness campa Read moreigns among injecting drug users, natural resource management, sustainable livelihood promotion among the impoverished, social and legal awareness among women and the poor, programs for drinking water and sanitation in both rural and urban regions, youth vocational training and skill development for improved employability, Female literacy, formal and informal education for underprivileged children in rural and urban slums, and the development of the capacity of social sector organisations tackling a range of challenges at the grassroots level in several northern Indian states and a few northeastern states. The poor and vulnerable members of society, women, adolescents, and other disadvantaged individuals from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds from both rural and urban places dispersed throughout India are the target audience for our programs and activities.

Healthcare
Numerous healthcare initiatives run by Matrix Society are available in different states, at different levels, for a range of age groups, and among individuals from varied socioeconomic backgrounds.
As part of its healthcare initiatives, Matrix Society collaborates on several projects with other organisations and agencies. Together with the National AIDS Control Society, the Matrix Society is actively promoting HIV/AIDS prevention in four states. We are now running Health Camps in some states. Additionally, we offer mobile healthcare through mobile medical vans that are stationed at different sites. We provide ambulance services to several locations in Haryana and Bihar as part of our healthcare program.

Education
In its several program locations, Matrix Society has supported child and adult education with assistance from a range of organisations and stakeholders. We supply teachers to several government schools in the Mewat area. Through the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, we also offered non-formal education to children of construction sites and brick kiln workers in different Haryana districts. We offer tutorial lessons to slum and street children at some places throughout New Delhi. implemented a digital literacy program for adolescents and young people in Mewat, Haryana, and Mughal Sarai, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. We actively work to increase school awareness and capability, as well as to teach teachers and students excellent teaching methodologies.
