  • Capacity Building Programmes

    It is committed to strengthening the skills of childcare personnel so that timely quality care and development are delivered.

    To this end, the organisation trains and skills mothers and families, Anganwadi workers, neighbourhood creches, NGO’s and Government representatives with orientation, basic skills of community child care and helps develop a vision for the senior leadership.

    The training is conducted by ensuring healthy interaction between participants, role-plays, demonstrations, group activities and open discussions.

  • Early Childhood Development Partnership and Community Engagement Programmes

    Mobile Creches works hand-in-hand with the community to influence decision-makers and create awareness and child right supporting laws and policies. It seeks to build agreements with academic institutions, women’s groups and the community at the lowest levels to help make its voice heard for effective legislation to be developed.

    Mobile Creches provides childcare services to very young children till those who have attained twelve years of age. The organisation partners with building construction firms to set up creches at their construction sites with monetary support from them.

    It takes up full responsibility to run the creches six days per week providing its own trained staff and quality standards. It negotiates with builders for funds and also takes up training other NGO service providers besides closely monitoring the creches for a period of one year to ensure high quality of services.

    It also works in urban slums partnering with local NGOs enabling child rights and delivering daycare services.
