Programs

  • Youth for Well Being Programme

Nada India Foundation, in collaboration with IOGT International, operates "Youth for Well-being," a youth-led initiative as part of the Pehchaan awareness campaign for well-being. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3, focusing on ensuring healthy lives and well-being for all. It builds partnerships with young individuals and volunteers from urban and rural areas, providing training and support where it's needed most. These empowered young people become health reporters and peer counsellors, facilitating positive change. Well-being brand ambassadors lead campaigns spanning health and non-health sectors, working towards healthier lives for all.

  • Good Health Advocate Programme

Nada India Foundation runs "Good Health Advocate," supporting those dedicated to promoting well-being. "Saathiya" provides a platform for voicing concerns about health in a market-driven society. Hemant Kumar, a 14-year substance recovery advocate, cares for patients with co-occurring conditions at Muskan Foundation. Nada India equips the team to handle these disorders. It aims to change attitudes toward Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) for prevention. Hemant's experiences shape NCD prevention in the Muskan Foundation's programmes. In 2017, Hemant represented Nada India NCD Network in Geneva, presenting a painting to the NCD Alliance team.

    Delhi

Nada India Foundation operates the Women's Leadership Institute for Family Empowerment (W-LIFE), a comprehensive project dedicated to empowering women facing crises stemming from non-communicable diseases (NCDs), NCD risk factors, substance use in the family, domestic violence, poverty, disasters, or trauma. Located in Delhi, the outpatient facility caters to women's health and well-being needs, including those considering treatment and those in need of ongoing support. Services at the centre encompass ear acupuncture, acudetox counselling, referrals, aftercare, vocational support, and family therapy, all aimed at uplifting women in challenging circumstances.

  • Acudetox India Programme

Nada India Foundation's "Acudetox India" programme employs NADA Acupuncture to foster inner relaxation, leading to increased calmness and symptom relief. This treatment promotes the awakening of one's inner energy, known as "Qi," restoring balance and improving communication. As individuals experience this inner serenity, they gain heightened self-awareness, enabling them to make more deliberate choices in responding to life's challenges. The programme's focus on AcuDetox aims to provide a therapeutic pathway to wellness.

  • Programme Against Substance Abuse

Nada India Foundation addresses India's growing substance abuse issue, breaking down stigma and discrimination. It uses innovative methods, including harm reduction and acupuncture, to combat this challenge, emphasizing the impact of alcohol on development and child rights. Nada India advocates for vulnerable groups, including children of alcoholics, women, youth, migrants, and marginalized communities, to create safe environments free from substance-related harm.
