"Project Venda" empowers teens to reject substance abuse and support addicted youth. The programme prioritizes blood collection from voluntary non-remunerated donors due to its safety. To boost voluntary blood donation across the nation, an operational guideline was developed. This guideline encompasses donor recruitment and retention, vital for this endeavour.

Securing safe donors poses challenges, requiring public acknowledgement of blood donation as a personal responsibility. Individual participation is indispensable for sustaining healthcare systems, including Blood Banks, hospitals, and Government efforts.

This comprehensive guideline enhances voluntary blood collection efforts, covering all aspects of the programme, including organising Voluntary Blood Donation camps. It is a valuable resource for stakeholders engaged in the country's voluntary blood donation programme, facilitating its vital work.
