It works on grassroots level issues and analyses them through intensive team approach, assessment studies, baseline surveys and research. The organisation encourages basic education among underprivileged children with an aim to connect them to development in a sustained manner. Also, it provides necessary training, motivation and skills to youth and women for critically analysing problems and structuring a suitable plan of action for their development. The training is entirely based on participatory learning methods in accordance to the local problems and issues. Additionally, the organisation supports, promotes, facilitates and organises innovative development activities for the urban, rural and tribal communities in the fields of women empowerment, handloom and handicraft development, education, vocational training, health care, child labour and environment. Further, it encourages education by establishing and managing schools, colleges and organising symposiums, seminars and training programmes. In addition to this the organisation encourages human resource development by alternative education, vocational training and leadership development.
