Helps kids from impoverished neighbourhoods in the following ways:
Tuition and Enrollment: During the early years of school, a child picks up social skills, discipline, structure, and fundamental academic concepts. They also learn how to collaborate with other kids. We look for neighbourhood kids who aren't enrolled and help needy parents pay their tuition.
Academic Support: The kids come to the centre after school during the school year to complete all of their studying. Our staff teachers review each child's completed work to make sure no student is falling behind. We involve the kids in study programmes throughout the summer break from school so they may get ready and caught up when classes resume.
Community Participation - One crucial element in our efforts to graduate is to include parents, students, and other community members in talks and seminars about the value of completing education.

The Hindi word for legacy or inheritance is virasat. We believe that this approach sets our work apart from other NGOs that focus exclusively on education. As a non-profit organisation with a strong local focus, we think that having roots is crucial to developing self-respect. A child has to know what makes their life meaningful before they may be inspired to create a better one. For children growing up in the slums, survival is the first concern. We want to show kids that life is capable of so much more than just slogging through life's necessities. We provide knowledge of Indian culture so that every child has a feeling of national identity. We also celebrate other occasions and introduce them to dancing, yoga, theatre, and the arts. Through this experience, every youngster discovers their interests, preferred modes of self-expression, and—above all—what makes life worthwhile.
