shOObh Group Welfare Society uses art to work in the field of community-service and action, education, health, personal growth and improvement, social Read more welfare and self-help for the disadvantaged. In all of shOObh Group projects different art forms are used to educate people on human welfare issues. The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) recently granted shOObh Special Consultative Status. The annual shOObh Arts Competition and shOObh Photography Contest are based on an annual theme based on a human welfare issue. Themes in past years have included Water, ”People ‘n’ Animal”, Joy, Light, Ganga, and Women. In 2010, its Art Competition was first organized, in sync with Common Wealth Games-2010, and was a part of cultural events of the Common Wealth Games, New Delhi-2010. The competition was supported by the Lalit Kala Academy & was billed as one of the largest in Asia.

Forum of Safe Schools
Launched on October 28, 2017, at Parliament House Annex, New Delhi, India, the Forum of School Safety (FoSS) is a collaborative initiative involving school authorities, regulatory bodies, parent-teacher associations, legal experts, judiciary representatives, and civil societies. Comprising senior members from these institutions, FoSS aims to formulate policies and programs to safeguard schoolchildren from various forms of abuse, including sexual harassment and life-threatening situations.
