The Mahabhakti Foundation
The Mahabhakti Foundation, registered under the Indian Trust Act (1982), underwent a transformation at the National Physical Laboratory on December 14, 2018, through a meeting involving 75 scientists, bureaucrats, technologists, and social workers. They established an organizational framework aimed at launching the Foundation's operations nationwide, with a focus on villages such as Aathgaon Shilling (Kumalgaon), Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, initially. Their objective is to empower villages with traditional and rural technologies, aiming to reduce depopulation caused by migration to urban areas. The Foundation plans to construct guest houses, develop educational institutions, and implement health and agricultural initiatives in collaboration with the government. Notably, the Secretary has played a significant role in village development projects in Tamil Nadu and Guptakashi, Uttarakhand, while Prof. K I Vasu has pledged support as the patron. They seek support from members and the public
