    Focusing on sexual and reproductive health rights and menstrual health management, the organisation runs the “Flying Wings” programme to create awareness of the role of hygiene while menstruating and trying to break the customary inhibitions related to the subject.

    Through Gulechi-The wooden Champa, Aaina is encouraging creativity among disadvantaged rural girls. They are sensitised on health, hygiene, reading and writing and arts like painting, dance, music, poetry writing etc. along with local languages, customs and practices.

    Its ‘Project Ananya' is an initiative that aims to ensure district-wide enumeration and a status survey of specially-abled people. ‘Project Satyabhama’ is a community-based rehabilitation of people with disabilities with a special focus on children.

    It conducts bridge classes for children with disabilities to ensure extra academic support, in partnership with PHF it launched project CBID (Community Based Inclusive Development) to strengthen children’s clubs and provide inclusive education.

    It also runs “Sparsh” a centre for the deaf-blind and children with multiple sensory ailments and supports “Dhwani” a special film festival to give voice to the issues of disabled people.
