Works with the primary aim of undertaking welfare activities in undeveloped rural areas of Orissa. Education, health, micro-finance and rural developm Read moreent are the four main focus areas of operation. Activities in the education sector are focused on the welfare of disabled children and assistance is provided in the form of financial support, special courses, assistive devices, positioning aids and daily living skill training programmes. Training sessions in child delivery and pre-natal & post natal care are conducted for local individuals in collaboration with National Rural Health Mission in Orissa. Government officials and NGO workers are also trained in disability and inclusive development through training programmes in collaboration with Germany based organization CBM. In the health sector, the aim is to overcome the shortcomings of the existing healthcare system with OPD services, a comprehensive eye care project, distribution of medicines & supplements, eye surgeries and screening programmes for diseases in place. The micro-finance programme aims to promote self-sustenance in the rural population through self help groups within the rural community. Rural development activities are focused on providing hydro and solar energy in villages to promote efficient sources of energy and implement advanced projects in the State.
