Doctoral candidates undergo coursework, mandatory subjects, seminars, and comprehensive viva voce, supported by supervisors and an advisory committee. Registration lasts up to eight years, with a minimum thesis submission period of three years. Progress is assessed regularly, and peer-reviewed journal publications are mandatory. External experts evaluate the theses. Post-Doctoral programs (D.Sc./D.Litt.) recognize original research contributions through peer-reviewed publications and external evaluations. D.Litt. requires post-doctoral work and publications, while D.Sc. necessitates Masters and Ph.D. degrees in STEM areas, substantial research, and publications, advancing knowledge in relevant fields.
