Society for Nature, Education and Health (SNEH) manages a residential high school for tribal girls, Nalini Vidya Mandir (NVM), in Rayagada, Odisha, since 1995. Supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, it offers free education, boarding, and skill development. Despite economic hardships, NVM has maintained a perfect attendance record in its 22 years, nurturing students' academic and extracurricular achievements. Additionally, SNEH operates a tutorial centre in Bhubaneswar's Salia Sahi slum to enhance the education of underprivileged children, significantly reducing dropout rates and promoting community engagement.

Since 1995, SNEH has been dedicated to HIV/AIDS prevention. Starting with STD clinics in JKPur and Rayagada, their focus shifted to Bhubaneswar's Salia Sahi slum. It conducts counselling, awareness programmes, rallies, street plays, and sports events to create an environment for attitude and behaviour change, particularly among youth. Additionally, post-communal conflicts in 2008 led to peace-building efforts in G. Udayagiri, encompassing malnutrition, healthcare, sanitation, and livelihood. Special emphasis is on maternal and child health, involving training for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers in Jagatsinghpur under the National Health Mission scheme.

SNEH runs a 'Swadhar Gruha' in Rayagada, Odisha, sheltering about 50 destitute women and girls who have faced abandonment. The aim is to reunite them with their families or provide vocational training for mainstream rehabilitation. While at the home, they receive food, shelter, healthcare, and legal support if needed. Vocational training includes tailoring, leaf-plate making, appliqué work, embroidery, and saree-making. The Health and Livelihood Programme in Kandhamal, Odisha, addresses communal conflicts' aftermath and health issues, focusing on women and child healthcare. It promotes sustainable agriculture, diversification, and vocational training.

'SAMPRITI' in Bhubaneswar serves as a peacebuilding resource centre with a library and facilitates scholar interactions. In violence-prone slum communities, SNEH works to reduce domestic violence and engage youth through sports and culture. Various training programmes are organised for women, community leaders, and youth in conflict resolution. SNEH promotes youth volunteering, involving students and MSW interns in its social development initiatives.

In 2010, 1,000 more saplings were added to this initiative. In 2002, 'Campaign Coconut' engaged 500 schoolchildren to regenerate coconut palms. SNEH also conducted programs to inspire students to think green, including competitions and environmental awareness events. The organisation has actively participated in the National Environment Awareness Programs since 1997.
