  • Workplace Eye Screening Camps

The prevalence of uncorrected presbyopia is high in an ageing population. because working populations struggle with this. Aravind's only goal in arranging refractive error screening camps is to screen and dispense spectacles to a large number of patients simultaneously. This kind of outreach camp is aimed mostly at industries and other occupations.

  • Comprehensive Eye Camps

All-inclusive camps are made to screen for several prevalent eye conditions, with a specific focus on cataracts. Medication or eyeglasses are used at the campsite to address minor eye conditions and refractive problems. Individuals with cataracts are sent to the hospital for a free operation, but patients with other ailments are directed to the base hospital.

  • Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Camps

Diabetic retinopathy is the result of high blood glucose levels in individuals with poorly controlled diabetes, which damages the small blood vessels in the retina, the thin membrane that is sensitive to light and covers the inside of the eye. This is turning into one of the main causes of eyesight loss worldwide due to the growth in diabetes. Only the identification and treatment of this incurable illness are the focus of DR screening camps.

  • School Children Screening Camps

The primary cause of vision impairment in children aged 6 to 15 worldwide is uncorrected refractive error, and the prevalence of myopia, or shortsightedness, is rising. The focus of these camps is refractive error screening. Additionally, students with additional eye conditions are recognized and directed to the base hospital.

  • Paediatric Eye Screening Camps

These courses concentrate on treating and preventing eye issues in kids between the ages of 0 and 5 (preschoolers and newborns). Parents receive education regarding juvenile illnesses, dietary deficits that might result in blindness, eye safety, and the prevention of eye diseases.
