Livelihood development of the tribal women is one of the important programmes of our organization under donor Omega Healthcare. We identified the rural women belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and organized them into informal Self-Help Groups (SHGs)called magalir grama shabas. We encouraged the women to involve in savings, thrift and credit activities thereby ensured them to attain social and economic empowerment. Entrepreneurship development, Skills training, Micro finance and Marketing are our key activities to enable the rural women to earn a decent income.
