    Livelihood development of the tribal women is one of the important programmes of our organization under donor Omega Healthcare. We identified the rural women belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and organized them into informal Self-Help Groups (SHGs)called magalir grama shabas. We encouraged the women to involve in savings, thrift and credit activities thereby ensured them to attain social and economic empowerment. Entrepreneurship development, Skills training, Micro finance and Marketing are our key activities to enable the rural women to earn a decent income. We enabled around 273 women under this project to come out of poverty.

  • Covid-19 Awareness Raising and Prevention

    Immediately after the Covid-19 breakdown in 2020, We approached some of our funding partners and availed both cash and kind support and with that we supported 10 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to equip themselves to treat the COVID-19 affected patients

  • Nutrition kit for lactating and preganant women

    By providing nutrition kit for the tribal women who are pregnant and lactating we benefitted nearly 40 women for 6 months which improved their health as well as their kids health. This project was implemented as pilot basis in 5 villages and got a good response from the people of the community.
