Additionally, it runs counselling centres to address psycho-social issues and promotes sustainable agriculture among small farmers through collective farming. CRED expanded its services to Nagai District after observing gaps in disaster management efforts following the tsunami. It prioritizes constructive interventions over mere wealth distribution, aiming to empower marginalized groups, particularly women. By addressing challenges such as unemployment and negativity among residents, especially in Seruthur and Kamaeshwaram hamlets, CRED aligns with its vision of creating a socially empowered community grounded in Lok Niti principles.
