Crafts Council Of Tamilnadu

Crafts Council of Tamilnadu works to encourage handicraft artisans through provision of new market avenues. The organisation encourages the handicraft Read more skills of craftspeople like the Todas, the mat weavers of Pattimadai and the Kurumba kambili weavers of Kalangal. The council through its platform, Crafts Bazaar, provides opportunities to artisans from all over India to exhibit and sell their products. Further, the organisation also conducts craft workshops in product design, development and marketing and provides training to women belonging to marginalised communities in activities such as garland making to enable them to supplement their home income.
