Programs

  • Animal Birth Control and Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drives

Animal Birth Control and Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drives are twin programs to prevent unwanted proliferation of community and stray companion animals and to eliminate zoonotic diseases like Rabies. These two programs have been implemented since inception and over 30000 companion animals have been sterilized and vaccinated till date.

  • Rescue and Rehabilitation

Stray animals that are sick, abandoned and injured are rescued, treated, and rehabilitated. Those that can go back to their habitat are released and those that cannot fend for themselves are moved to the Humane Animal Animal Society Sanctuary where they live out their lives in peace. Till date the organization has rescued and rehabilitated over 5000 animals.

  • Adoption and Fostering

Adoption of homeless pets has been promoted from the very beginning with the slogan "Adopt, Don't Shop". Every year, approximately 250 pets are adopted to loving homes and happy families. This has helped in recognizing native pets and discouraging the exploitive practices of buying and breeding.

  • Education and Awareness

Educating and Creating Awareness has been one of the foundations on which all other programs have thrived. The more awareness is created, the better has been the support. Educating children at an early age will create responsible citizens of tomorrow.
