    Disha, an initiative by The Ma Foi Foundation, empowers children from disadvantaged backgrounds to realize their strengths and fosters their holistic development. The Disha Scholarships have supported over 3,800 children across Tamil Nadu, ensuring uninterrupted education while facilitating opportunities for higher studies and employment. The Disha Leadership Programme nurtures leadership qualities in scholars starting from the 8th standard, helping them build essential skills for the future. The Disha Sports Academy identifies and trains talented children aged 10 to 14 in football, boxing, and athletics. Furthermore, Disha Kalvi Maiyam provides educational and resource centers in villages across the Virudhunagar district, offering study support to children in need.

    Incubated by The Ma Foi Foundation, Ekam Foundation collaborates with paediatricians, pharmaceutical companies, governments, and hospitals to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged children. The foundation conducts regular screenings in orphanages, anganwadis, schools, and communities, with referrals and follow-ups aimed at reducing prenatal and neonatal mortality. Ekam Foundation also trains community volunteers and implements school health projects to promote preventative care. Through partnerships with government hospitals, Ekam enhances access to quality healthcare services by employing a Public Private Partnership model and investing in infrastructure, manpower, and life-saving equipment. These initiatives have contributed significantly to reducing neonatal deaths in NICUs.

    Promoting women's financial independence, the foundation focuses on three key areas with women’s groups: Microfinance, Vocational Training, and Entrepreneurial Support. Through Self Help Groups, women undergo vocational training programs, which help foster entrepreneurship or employment opportunities. The Janasri Bima Yojana provides insurance coverage to these groups, benefiting a total of 3,562 individuals. The initiative has established 4,200 Self Help Groups across Chennai and Virudhunagar, comprising 60,000 women. Emphasizing savings, the groups collectively contribute over INR 0.15 million in monthly savings, with total credit availed amounting to INR 35 million in the previous year. Additionally, the foundation facilitates educational loans for the children of its members.
