Green Chemistree Foundation is a networking platform that connects the international chemical community to promote the use of Green Chemistry and Engi Read moreneering practices to support the 'green' consciousness across the value chain of the Chemical Industry. One of the Foundation's main objectives is to raise awareness regarding the negative effects that the chemical industry has on the environment, and promote Green Chemistry & Green Engineering as economical and environmentally preferable alternatives. It also facilitates a collaboration between Academia, Research Institutes, etc and the industry. Another goal is to train and create future environmentally-conscious chemists and chemical engineers who are equipped and trained to deal with upcoming challenges of the chemical industry. Finally, it aims to educate and sensitize industry professionals, teachers, students, industrial and government associations, and other stakeholders on the challenges related to the environment, and alternatives available in green chemistry. The Foundation conducts Awareness Seminars for Industry Association Members that introduces industries to green chemistry concepts and offers solutions to environmental challenges. In addition, it hosts Customized Workshops for Research and Development Teams and Manufacturing Units. These training workshops are for specific industry groups, both strategic and technical, and focus on strategic issues and emerging trends for setting directional context. These workshops provide technical insights and case-study presentations for Research and Development scientists and researchers. Green Chemistree also holds general workshops and sessions on Green Chemistry at Chemical Industry Trade Shows, Conventions, and Events throughout the globe to sensitize participants on various business opportunities and emerging trends in the industrial green chemistry domain. Additionally, the Foundation conducts Green Chemistry focused training workshops for teachers and students to bridge the gap between academic institutions and the industry. Biomimicry Camps for Research and Development Teams (R&D) where R&D teams of chemical companies observe nature to explore possible alternatives to conventional chemistry. These Biomimicry Camps include forest visits, interdisciplinary interactions, technical presentations, and hands-on activities. The Foundation's e-IGCW Social Media offers a network of over 15,000 green chemistry enthusiasts from across the world, from both the industry and educational backgrounds. This platform provides the chemical industry to engage in and explore various green chemistry focused resources, events, initiatives, and opportunities. Additionally, in order to inspire young chemists and chemical engineers to explore green chemistry and green engineering, the Foundation provides customized webinars.
