  • Women Empowerment Programme

    Collaborating with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the Janhvi Foundation facilitates a range of initiatives dedicated to women's empowerment. These projects encompass vocational training, specialized programmes, and informative lectures on diverse subjects. Through these endeavours, the Foundation strives to empower and uplift women, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge to enhance their socio-economic prospects and overall well-being.

  • Free Ration Distribution during the COVID-19

    District

    The COVID-19 pandemic brought about widespread vulnerability and despair among individuals and households. In response to these challenging circumstances, the Janhvi Foundation stepped up to provide assistance by distributing essential food supplies free of charge, offering relief and support to those grappling with the impact of the pandemic.

  • Adolescent Health Progamme

    District

    Adolescence, spanning from ages 10 to 19, represents the transitional phase between childhood and adulthood. This developmental stage is characterized by rapid physical, cognitive, and psychosocial growth, laying the groundwork for lifelong well-being. In many developing nations, numerous girls enter adolescence malnourished, heightening their susceptibility to illnesses. Janhvi Foundation has organized numerous health initiatives aimed at imparting knowledge and awareness to empower young girls during this critical life stage.

  • Education Programmes

    District

    The Digital Literacy Programme, a collaborative effort between the Maharashtra State Commission of Women and the Janhvi Foundation, organised workshops on digital literacy at Abhinav Jr College, Ambegaon. These workshops engaged 89 girls in enhancing their digital skills, encompassing reading, writing, technical proficiency, and critical thinking.
    Furthermore, the Foundation, in partnership with the Pune City AIDS Control Society, conducted HIV/AIDS awareness programs in multiple schools, educating approximately 1530 students from 15 different educational institutions. It provided specialized coaching in Mathematics and English to numerous students as part of its educational initiatives.

  • Medical Programmes

    District

    The Targeted Intervention Programme for Injecting Drug Users aims to reduce disease transmission in vulnerable groups through behaviour change, counselling, healthcare, STD treatment, and creating a supportive environment. International Overdose Awareness Day, initiated by Sally J. Finn in 2001, combats substance use disorders and overdose stigma. On August 31st, the Janhvi Foundation organised events, including opioid substitution therapy for HIV prevention. Health camps for Pune's metro workers provided checks and awareness sessions. Collaborating with the Family Planning Association of India, the foundation offers counselling and free distribution of contraceptives.

  • Social Programmes

    District

    The Janhvi Foundation actively engages in social projects, including the Night Shelter Project for homeless individuals in Pune, which aligns with Government directives to provide shelter for the destitute. It has assisted nine migrant workers who lost their jobs during the COVID-19 lockdown in finding shelter and employment. Additionally, the Janhvi Foundation serves as a Supportive Implementing Agency for the Jal Jeevan Mission, a Government initiative to ensure safe drinking water and promote community involvement in water management in rural India by 2024. Its efforts contribute to creating a collective commitment to water accessibility and sustainability.
