Jeevan Jyot Cancer Relief & Care Trust is a Mumbai-based, non-profit, non-governmental, secular organization founded in 1997 by Mr. Harakhchand Savla. Read more With a mission to serve cancer patients and their families, the Trust has grown into a nationwide network, currently operating across 12 centres in cities such as Mumbai, Thane, Sangli, Jalgaon, and Kolkata. The organization offers a wide spectrum of support services, including medical counseling, subsidized treatments like chemotherapy and radiation, homeopathy, dialysis, and even prosthesis assistance. One of its key strengths lies in providing comprehensive patient care—free meals, accommodation, and emotional support—for over 600 people daily, touching the lives of more than 4 lakh patients to date. Under the leadership of the dedicated and compassionate Mr. Savla, the Trust has expanded its initiatives to include disaster relief, rural medical camps, tribal outreach, and mobile healthcare units. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeevan Jyot also provided critical aid and resources to those in need. Funded through public donations, CSR contributions, and in-kind support, the Trust maintains transparency by offering 80G tax benefits and CSR-compliant donation options. Guided by the motto “Open hearts.

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust launched extensive relief efforts to support vulnerable communities. Their initiatives included distributing food kits, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance to thousands of affected individuals across Mumbai. They also supported healthcare workers with protective equipment and offered oxygen concentrators to those in need.
