Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is a deemed-to-be university established in 2003 in Loni, Maharashtra. It was founded by the Pravara Medi Read morecal Trust to provide quality medical and health science education and healthcare services in rural areas.

PIMS operates several constituent colleges and hospitals providing medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy and other health science education as well as healthcare services to the rural population.

Impact

PIMS treats approximately 1 million patients per year through its 1275-bed multi-specialty hospital and rural outreach programs, providing comprehensive healthcare to the rural and tribal population of the region.
