Notably, it serves as a robust model for sex worker collectives locally and globally, extending its support beyond its own community to transport and migrant workers in the region.

    Mitra Hostel, established under the Department of Women and Child Development in April 2017, serves as a nurturing haven for the children of sex workers. With the support of SANGRAM, it's administered by VAMP, providing a supportive environment and essential amenities for 40 children—23 girls and 17 boys. Besides their education at a nearby Municipal School, they receive additional tutoring, fostering an environment where they learn, grow, celebrate, and envision their future in a cohesive community setting.
