Antāji Mankeshwar Gandhe smashed the larger Durrani forces at Battle of Narela with a handful of men, and participated in the Capture of Delhi (1757) Read morefrom Rohillas. He received the title of "Gandhe" as he used to apply Gandha on Chhatrapti Shivaji's forehead. After surviving the battle of Panipat, Antāji Mankeshwar was martyred when Balochi gangs ambushed him at Farrukhnagar.
