    Ehsaas established the pioneering Drop-In Center in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, becoming the first registered under the Juvenile Justice Act. Functioning as an open shelter since 2002, it offers essential services like health, nutrition, counselling, and need-based vocational training to children. This centre serves as a safe haven, providing not only basic amenities but also holistic support to empower and guide children, fostering their well-being and future prospects.

    The Railway Children Surveillance and Protection Mechanism is a systematic approach ensuring a safe environment for children on railway platforms. It identifies, rescues, and provides support, reaching around 8000 children since 2002. This model is a recognized Best Practice for rehabilitating children in need, contributing to Lucknow's Child-Friendly Railway Station status. Additionally, Ehsaas launched Railway CHILDLINE in July 2015—a 24/7 emergency outreach service connecting children in railway contact to long-term care and rehabilitation services.
