GVT is in charge of one Krishi Vigyan Kendra in eastern India, located in the district of Godda in Jharkhand. According to the ICAR, this Kendra is among the top organisations in frontline demonstration of best practices for programs centred around agriculture, livestock, and forestry. GVT expanded both geographically and in terms of its range of activities. In keeping with its goal and vision, it launched several new projects and activities, such as training rural children in a variety of trades, providing business possibilities, agribusiness, market connections to rural handcraft craftsmen, etc.

Programs

  • E-Governance services

Through the use of GVT's e-Governance services, recipients can directly benefit from several centrally funded programs and financial transfers that were previously mired in red tape and other sorts of harassment inside the corrupt cycle. E-government will play a significant role in mitigating these irregularities, leading to the eventual cessation of red tape and other impoverished people's exploitation. GVT is in charge of two initiatives under the E-Governance Services: the National Population Register (NPR) and the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY).

  • Capacity Building & Training

For the intended beneficiaries of the programs, GVT arranges a variety of exposure visits, training sessions, and awareness campaigns throughout the project cycle. At its numerous offices and institutes, it regularly organises a range of training programs for state government personnel and their agencies. To prepare perspective plans and yearly plans for 22 districts spread throughout the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal, it has worked with the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. GVT serves as the Panchayat officials' Technical Support Institution (TSI).
