The Chandnichakhat Association For Rural Social And Health Advancement(CHARSHA) was established in 1997 by Md. Sahanewaj Biswas and a group of social Read morely conscious youth, in West Bengal. It initially focused on philanthropy before refining its mission to prioritize comprehensive education, primary healthcare, and livelihood support for marginalized groups. With a vision of a society characterized by peace, dignity, and equity, CHARSHA has conducted various developmental activities in education, health, and skill development across several districts. Its recent response to the COVID-19 pandemic involved providing essential supplies to migrant labourers, and it aims to continue emergency aid for those in need while also partnering with the West Bengal Skill Training project to empower disadvantaged groups with trade skills for self-sufficiency.
