It aims to achieve multiple objectives including working for the medical care and education of disabled persons, upliftment and empowerment of women, promotion of tree plantation , water harvesting and pollution control, spreading environmental awareness, enabling self-employment among unemployed individuals, establishing and maintaining educational institutions, libraries and reading rooms and setting up health centers, orphanages and old age homes. It also runs the Kaushiki Institute for vocational training to train women and Dr. Barun Kumar Mukherjee Memorial Inclusive School for promoting inclusive learning for specially-abled children.
