Sreema Mahila Samity established the Legal Guidance & Family Counseling Center to assist women and families experiencing strained relations and marital discord, providing a platform for conflict resolution. Survivors of domestic violence or those facing oppression can register their issues at the centre. Staff independently investigates these cases, validates their authenticity, and encourages both parties to discuss problems for a resolution. Counselling is offered to settle disputes amicably; however, if unresolved, guidance is provided for legal or police intervention. SMS offers legal information to those lacking access to such resources and aims to empower women's mental resilience. A total of 473 cases have been registered through this initiative this year.
