  • Women Empowerment through Volunteers’ Training on Child Safety

    We are pleased to highlight the remarkable achievements of the Women Empowerment Project on Child Protection in Basirhat 1, Sandeshkhali 1, Hasnabad, Gaighata, Haroa, Habra2, Bongaon, and Bagdah blocks of North 24 Parganas. This comprehensive project aimed to empower women and protect children through various initiatives, including safe migration, back-to-school interventions, and stopping the runaway of children, with a particular focus on the girl child. By focusing on these critical areas, we strived to improve child protection, promote gender equality, and enhance the overall well-being of the community. We are proud to report that our efforts have not only made a significant impact on the community but have also empowered more than 850 women who now serve as dedicated volunteers within our organization, actively working towards child protection in the mentioned blocks.
