Its objectives include alleviating water stress, ensuring safe drinking water, improving livestock management via artificial insemination, enhancing education access, promoting livelihood opportunities, encouraging community involvement, and leveraging government programmes.

    This programme, a collaboration between the organisation, Save the Children, and L&T, operated in Kukda and Lasadiya Gram Panchayats with the primary goal of enhancing education quality and reducing dropout rates, especially during the COVID-19 lockdown. The project's focus areas included co-educational activities, community mobilization, capacity building, teaching materials, and physical facilities, and its impact was notable with enhanced confidence, zero dropout rates, girls and women re-enrollment, the establishment of Learning Resource Centers, improved knowledge, and increased parental involvement. The Saajhi Shiksha Programme brought about a significant transformation in education and child development in Rajsamand District, specifically in Rajasthan's Bhim Block.

    The Dairy and Animal Husbandry Development Program, funded by Dharampal Satyapal Ltd (DS) Group Noida as part of their CSR initiative, has been in operation since 2016, focusing on enhancing the socio-economic status of cattle-rearing families. The project's objectives encompass breed improvement, feed management, veterinary services, the establishment of Farmer's Producer Organisations (FPO), and creating backward and forward linkages within the community. Key outcomes include an improved conception and safe delivery rate, the development of Community-Based Institutions (CBOs) in all 30 villages, convergence activities, the establishment of a Veterinary Pathology Lab, increased milk production, and the provision of quality animal feed through FPO initiatives. Project Manthan has played a vital role in significantly improving livestock productivity, uplifting the socio-economic conditions of cattle-rearing families, and promoting sustainable livelihoods in the target areas.

    This project enhances the quality of life for tribal and rural communities in 14 villages in Udaipur District, Rajasthan. It focuses on sustainable livelihoods through Natural Resource Management, emphasizing water conservation and harvesting for improved agriculture. IMPACT: Watershed Development: Conserved 14,29,897 cubic meters of rainwater via 153 structures and raised the groundwater table by 1.39 meters. Increased arable land and cropping areas.
    -Climate Smart Agriculture: Promoted micro-irrigation systems covering 45 hectares.
    -Land Reclamation: Transformed wasteland into Sanjeevan Eco Park, generating income for farmers through horticulture, commercial plants, and medicinal crops.
    -Infrastructure Development: Installed a solar-powered cold storage and irrigation pump in the eco-park.
    -Vertical Farming: Introduced vertical trellis for vegetable cultivation, significantly increasing family income.

  • Ab Meri Baari Project

    This Project in collaboration with the Royal Rajasthan Foundation, aims to empower adolescents and young girls while addressing the impact of COVID-19. Operating in 12 villages in Jaipur District, Rajasthan. It has achieved significant milestones:
    Increased COVID Vaccination Awareness: Raised awareness and vaccination coverage from 38% to 52%, with support for vaccinating 275 girls.
    Empowering Anganwadi Workers: Enhanced AWWs' understanding of adolescent issues, improving community relationships, especially with girls.
    Expanding Social Security Reach: Enabled better access to social security schemes and services for the target group.
    Empowering Adolescent Girls: Over 600 girls gained knowledge on various aspects, with 100 champions receiving skill development training, fostering self-confidence, decision-making, and economic independence.
    Sustained Impact: Improved AWW skills ensure the project's long-term effectiveness.

  • Bringing Children Back to the School Project

Operating in 21 villages of Kurabad block in Udaipur district, Rajasthan and has benefited 2,657 children, 110 teachers, 3,680 parents, and 462 SMC members. Project Objectives:

The objective is to increase agricultural productivity, profitability, and sustainable livelihoods for the community.

Impact

Arpan Seva Sansthan's impact includes reaching out to 9 lakh households and 28,472 villages. Its Community-Based Integrated Development Project extended to 16 villages across four Gram Panchayats in the Barmer district. Furthermore, the Saajhi Sikhsa Project facilitated the re-enrollment of 39 girls and women, and the Manthan Project had a far-reaching impact, covering 30 villages, benefiting 3,500 families and 30,000 milking animals.
