Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti was established on 10th July 1981 by Lt. Pandit Jeevat Ram Sharma (Babuji). Providing education was his parental work. He Read morestarted the development journey formally by initiating school with 17 children and in 1990 RBKS initiated addressing the issue of Rural Development. Presently it has reached 7 schools, 12 colleges, and rural development activities in 641 villages. Major activities are - education, women and child development, livelihood enhancement, poverty eradication, Rural Development, watershed, natural resource management, skill enhancement, agriculture and livestock management, drinking water source creation, micro credit, etc. Now we are working for integrated development of the community. A total of 30000 tribal families have benefitted directly from various programs. 17800 children have completed education from education centers/institutions run by RBKS. We have committed and dedicated staff members, who are professionals, technical, professors, and subject experts and have rich experience of working with community and formal education.

Programs

  • Children Home for Orphan Boys and Girls

    Total 200 orphan girls and 50 orphan boys are residing in hostel run by RBKS and supported by Govt of Rajasthan. The center are at Udaipur and Dungarpur district. All the facility are free here for all the children.

  • Provide Education to Low Literacy Pocket

    District

    514 tribal girls are getting education in residential school and completing education upto XII class

  • Education Promotion for Tribal Girls

    Education promotion among girls in 2019 – 20 and 2020-21 total 1800 girls are studying. RBKS runs hostels at Jhadol, Beeda, Dungarpur, Sagwara. Girls are studying from VI to XII class, Teachers Training B.Ed., Nursing at graduation level, Graduation for arts students. These students belong to Tribal areas and tribal communities. Their family mainly depends on agriculture and construction labour for livelihood. They live in remote, hilly, underdeveloped areas where basic facilities are hardly available.

  • To Promote 50 Farmer Producer Organisation ( Fpo Promotion) Ac Cbbo

    In FPO promotion one FPO is constitutes in one block covering two state Gujrat and Rajasthan. Farmer are organised as registered FPO, training and exposure organised for members. FPO will be supported for initial 5 yrs to capacitate them to work as a independent company.

  • Livelihood Enhancement

    Tribal farmers are motivated for Horticulture plantation and forestry plantation. 500 farmers are selected and capacity building session, training organised.

Milestones & Track Record

68820 students educated so far, 89000 Ha watershed area treated, 1940 existing well development & renovation work done, Livelihood enhancement work reached to 22800 family, 1800 girls are studying in residential set up.
