Spectra is devoted to the task of education. Presently, 142 sites in Rajasthan and Haryana are operating under the "Girls Education Programme" project in collaboration with IIMPACT, serving 2153 children in Nuh Mewat and 1976 students in Alwar. The villages chosen for the centres are based on the level of support required for education in the local government schools. Several major problems, such as the low enrollment of girls, the dearth of female teachers in government schools, the high student dropout rate, and the number of single school teachers, highlight the need for the anticipated help.

  • Integrated Livelihood Development Program (ILDP)

Spectra organises rural women to enable them to become economically and socially independent through credit- and savings-based women's organisations that offer them a voice in sharing, discussing, and making decisions about their lives.

The main objective of Spectra is to support community-based organisations that empower women. These institutions give women the power to alter the power dynamics in their families and society, to increase their capacity for making decisions, to increase their degree of control over resources, and to give them a platform for visibility and group action. SHGs, Clusters, Federations, or Manch, Spectra's three-tier institutional architecture, serve as the foundation for a variety of activities about Financial Inclusion, Livelihoods, Girls Empowerment, and Rights & Entitlements. Spectra has three federations in its favour.
