The concept of True Childhood focuses on safeguarding children's rights by nurturing community-based institutions like Bal Panchayat and Village Development child rights committees. Children up to 18 years receive quality education, healthcare, nutritious food, and opportunities for sports and entertainment. Vaagdhara Civil Society strives to uplift and empower children, ensuring their self-reliance, independence, and ability to advocate for their needs. The implementation process revolves around four pillars: the right to survival, development, protection, and participation.

True Governance, focuses on empowering indigenous self-governance bodies and community-based institutions to drive development initiatives and policy changes from the grassroots level. Its approach involves engaging tribal communities in shaping development policies and programmes, safeguarding and promoting indigenous knowledge and traditions, and supporting women-led community groups to foster gender equality. By involving the community in decision-making and policy formulation, the organisation aims to build a robust economy that ensures peace, justice, and an end to poverty and hunger. Additionally, it strives to strengthen local governance institutions, improve educational facilities, and promote systematic growth for comprehensive community development.
