VISION
All persons with all types of disabilities will get access to individual need-based services as a matter of right, will have good quality of life and will be an indivisible element of their communities and the nation.

MISSION
To provide appropriate education, intervention, training and advocacy which will lead to awareness, empowerment and employment of people with disabilities with the help and support of trained staff and caregivers and to take measures for prevention, cure and mitigation of disabling conditions. All these measures will be undertaken with the cooperation of families, communities and other stakeholders.

Theory of Change

The BPA is a dynamic organization and believes in creating an organization that is sustainable – financially and in terms of systems. The BPA has always changed over the years by embracing technology and modernizing its operations. From writing accounts manually, the BPA accounts are all written on Tally and there is an internal auditor as well as external auditor for overseeing the functions. The BPA is totally transparent in its financial dealings and highlights its daily donations on the website every evening. The BPA has handles on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
The organization has used the theory of change in its operations for setting up of the second line of Managers to prepare them for handling their organization in the future. The staff was taken into confidence and the distinct stages of change (unfreeze, change and refreeze) were used. The BPA has an Organogram which has been developed based on the needs of the changing environment.
The organization’s Executive Committee meets every three months and reflects on the targets achieved during the 3 months in terms of beneficiaries reached, devices produced and distributed, training programmes conducted, surgeries conducted etc. Thus there is a quarterly appraisal of inputs, outputs, planning, and strategies for further actions.

Milestones & Track Record

BPA is one of the leading organizations that provides very comprehensive services to the people with disabilities. The major acheivements of the organizations are as given below.
1. 58,000 People with disabilities have been provided tricycles to improve their mobility.
2. 8000 People with disabilities have been provided wheelchairs to improve their indoor movement.
3. 400+ blind people have been trained as physiotherapists.
4. 700 women with disabilities have been provided Sillai Training, and Sewing Machine under USHA Sillai Schools.
5. 1000+ women with disabilities/without disabilities are part of inclusive self help groups.
6. 1 Lacs + people have been provided free cataract surgeries under Save Sight Projects.
7. The people with disabilities have been provided sports training to prepare them for participation in international and National Championships. Ms. Bhavina Patel who won Silver Model in Japan Paralympics, Gold Model in commonwealth Games, similarly Sonal Patel who won Bronze Model in Commonwealth are trainees of BPA.
8. More than 10000 people have been provided support for self employment.
