  • Child labour

    State

The "Bal Hinsa Nabudi Abhiyan" has conducted over 400 seminars across social gatherings and schools to raise awareness and prevent both deliberate and inadvertent violence against children by parents and educational institutions. A primary concern addressed by the campaign involves children from impoverished and marginalized communities who are frequently exploited for labor.
In many instances, the parents of these children, constrained by their challenging socio-economic circumstances, are deceived or enticed into "sending" or "selling" their children, hoping to secure better livelihood opportunities. Traffickers take advantage of the lack of awareness, especially among the uneducated poor residing in slums and other underprivileged areas of the country.
