In addressing the stark reality of limited access to quality education, particularly prevalent in marginalized communities, the organization focuses on providing educational support to children, many of whom are the first in their families to attend school. Through community education centers known as "Lok Shala," situated in slum areas of Bhavnagar, trained community members employ innovative teaching methods to bridge the education gap and combat high dropout rates. These initiatives offer supplemental learning opportunities, fostering confidence and academic skills among vulnerable children, thus increasing their retention rates in formal schooling. Over time, the program has successfully facilitated the entry of children without prior formal education into schools and supported those who had dropped out in re-entering at the appropriate level, enabling many to pursue secondary and higher education due to enhanced skills and confidence gained through the program.
