PRAKASH DEEP TRUST is a non-governmental, not for profit organization set up with the objective of providing free quality education, a substantial mid Read more-day meal and basic medical care in a safe and friendly environment to the underprivileged children in Faridabad. Since 2003, The Trust has set up five “Under the Trees Schools” in the close proximity of the slums to facilitate easy access to education for school aged slum children, and day care for their little siblings that are left under their charge.    Apart from imparting free quality education to the poor, the Trust is committed to bridging the technological gap that separates the poor and those who have easy access to modern technology in the rapidly changing modern environment. Our long term objective and mission is to break the nexus between poverty and the lack of education which not only fosters poverty but exponentially enhances and deepens it. Our latest addition is a modest building that caters to the needs of classes 6-12.  Computer Skills, Arts and Crafts, Music and Dance, Tailoring, Gardening and a class in Robotics are conducted here. Curriculum is based on NCERT guidelines and children appear in Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations through the National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS) to join the mainstream.

The vision and mission of Prakash Deep is to provide free, quality education to underprivileged children in a safe and friendly environment, believing these children are untapped resources with immeasurable potential.

Starting with 7 students under a tree in 2003, Prakash Deep has grown to multiple learning centers, introduced computer literacy programs, and partnered with the National Child Labor Project to provide mid-day meals.
