Scholarship to cancer survivor children
Youwecan acknowledges the value of education and supports by providing scholarships of up to 25,000 Rupees annually to help cancer survivor children reintegrate into formal school once they are registered within its programme. The scholarship is directly disbursed to the school/ education institute to ensure proper utilization of the funds and is provided every year till the children complete their education.

Pediatric Cancer- Cancer Treatment Fund
The YouWeCan Cancer Treatment Fund for Paediatric Patients provides financial assistance for the treatment of eligible cancer patients, to a maximum limit of Rs. 2,00,000.00 (rupees two lakhs) per patient. Only patients belonging to underprivileged backgrounds, who are below 18 years of age, are eligible to receive support under the fund.

Cancer awareness and screening
Youwecan focuses on early detection through cancer awareness of oral, breast & cervical cancer. It conducts screening camps for oral and breast cancer in rural areas and the women are also taught self-examination of the breasts.
It works in collaboration with schools, colleges, corporate, radio, hospitals, and doctors to spread the message of NO Tobacco.

Through this project, 100,000 women will be screened for breast cancer in the state of Goa. The project will provide a technology intervention to the government’s existing healthcare infrastructure, thereby further strengthening it.

Pediatric Cancer- Scholarship for Cancer Survivors
The YouWeCan Scholarship provides financial assistance to cancer survivor children from marginalised backgrounds, to help them get reintegrated into the formal education system, once their cancer treatment has been completed. Once a student has been enrolled for the program, they are provided a scholarship of upto Rs. 25,000.00 per year. Moreover, they are supported on a year-on-year basis, every year till the time they complete their education.

Impact
150,000 people were screened for different types of cancer, 1,25,000 students sensitized in anti-tobacco workshops, 24,000 men were counselled for tobacco cessation, 30,000 women sensitized to breast cancer, 150 cancer survivor students reintegrated into school through scholarships, 30 children provided financial aid for their cancer treatment since 2019.
