BKS operates two Children’s Homes in Jharkhand, with support from the Department of Women, Child Development, and Social Security of the Government of Jharkhand under ICPS. "Balkunj," located in West Singhbhum, is dedicated to boys, while "Kishori Niketan," situated in Bijupara, Ranchi District, caters to girls. Both homes serve as Residential Child Care Institutions under the JJ Act 2015, providing care and protection to children in need. Alongside ensuring a safe and healthy environment, our focus extends to their holistic development. We employ various methods, including Yoga, Art Therapy, Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, Sports, exposure to literature and science, and fostering livelihood and life skills. Through Yoga, we emphasize self-restraint and spiritual absorption, while Art Therapy incorporates music, dance, creative art, and storytelling. Counseling prioritizes listening and empathy, devoid of preaching or argumentation. Sports are encouraged to promote physical well-being,
