Programs

  • Education Programme

The organisation through its education programme aligns to three SDG’s namely quality education, gender equality and reduced inequalities. It enables education to underserved children through education vouchers allowing them to study at any school which they feel like joining. It has managed to retain many children who otherwise would have dropped out, but who now are on the verge of successfully graduating and making a future for themselves.

  • Srijan Bachpan Programme

This programme seeks to impart life skills to underserved children from slums and nearby villages. It includes sessions every week to introduce interpersonal, civic, financial, legal, communication, arts & crafts and also extra-curricular activities like dance, music and storytelling to the children. Counselling also forms a part of the initiative. The initiative uses the play-way approach to instil these concepts in the children.

  • Yuva Programme

Emphasises the power of youth to change situations for the better. This initiative motivates youth to channel their constructive energies for social good. It provides a platform for the youth to come out with their thoughts on civic issues, offers fellowships to encourage volunteerism and sessions to prod them to think about the constitutional rights of citizens through its “Samjho To Samvidhan” live exchanges.

  • Sanshray Programme

This programme is its intervention to provide livelihood opportunities by partnering with three other renowned organisations. It attempts to impart career guidance to higher and secondary school students and provide skill training in technical disciplines. It promotes both farm and non-farm based occupations and assists in the enrolment of skilled and unskilled labourers.

  • Child Rights & Protection Programme

Pratigya works to advocate for the protection and rights of children through organising conversations and public dialogues aimed at making India free of child trafficking. It also conducts consultation and exposure events for the public to align and speak for child rights. It organises marches to campaign for child rights and hosts film screenings to induce public thinking for social change and justice.
