    Edappally Kathakali Aswadaka Sadas, a registered society affiliated with Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, has been dedicated to nurturing traditional and classical art forms in India for over 18 years. With a substantial membership of around 1975 life members, its mission is to showcase 18 Kathakali programmes annually, along with monthly presentations of Koodiyattam, Nangyarkoothu, or Mizhavil Thayampaka in collaboration with S. N. A. Koodiyattam Kendram. Its focus is on promoting ancient art forms like Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Nangyarkoothu, and Ottamthullal while providing a platform for emerging artists. Additionally, it educates audiences about appreciating classical art through seminars, lectures, and demonstrations, all offered without any admission charges to the public. In recent years, it has staged various traditional attakkathas and thematic programmes to enrich the cultural landscape.

    Edappally Sangeetha Sadas, rooted in the musical passion of Edappally, Kochi, was established in 2004 under the Charitable Societies Act. With 1850 members as of January 2022. It has become a musical beacon. This organisation stands out for hosting an impressive 30 monthly music programmes, totalling 430 so far, earning it the prestigious 'Keli Puraskaram' from the Kerala Sangeet Natak Academy. It also commemorates special occasions like Muthaiah Bhagavatar Day and Navarathri festival, drawing renowned artists to its annual music festival. In tribute to Neyyatinkara Vasudevan, an endowment fund supports deserving musicians, having already honoured 11 exceptional talents.

    The Edappally Nruthaswadaka Sadas, a branch of Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram, emerged on May 1, 2013, with the esteemed presence of renowned Kuchipudi exponent and film actress Smt. Anupama Mohan. This initiative primarily focuses on promoting various dance forms, especially among housewives who once graced the dance stage during their school and college days. Its key objective is to reintroduce these housewives to the dance stage while also showcasing performances by established artists. The Nruthaswadaka Sadas conducts two dance programmes monthly and has achieved significant milestones, including Kuchipudi workshops, a three-day Dance Festival for its first anniversary, and regular Mohiniyattom performances facilitated by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy. With a membership of 1500 as of February 2022, accessible through a Rs. 500 fee, it continues to enrich the world of dance.
