Skill Upgradation Programme
The goal of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is to upskill impoverished rural youth and give them jobs that pay regular monthly earnings or more than the minimum wage. It is one of several programs run by the Indian government's Ministry of Rural Development that aims to support rural livelihoods. The training programs are open to all applicants who are between the ages of 15 and 35 who are from low-income families.
The Kottayam Social Service Society and Kudumbashree Mission work together to carry out the DDU GKY initiative.

Family Development Program (FDP)
The amazing Family Development Program (FDP) is part of the Canada-wide Save a Family Plan Project. By providing families with timely support and financial aid, the initiative seeks to empower families and create communities that are self-sufficient. The Family Development Program collaborates with India's underprivileged communities. Every partner family receives assistance for a duration of six years. The FDP serves families in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu through collaboration with 39 partner organizations. One of the partner organizations that carries out the Family Development Program is Kottayam Social Service Society.
