Ashwini Charitable Trust is a registered NGO that educates and empowers underprivileged children from the Ulsoor slums and supports them till they are Read more gainfully employed. Our organization is 16 years old and we support 305 children from 215 families thus raising the quality of life of more than 850 people in Bangalore slums. Our support extends to:  Paying the children’s school and college fees  Free Books, uniform, school bag, shoes and stationery items  Free vaccines against life threatening diseases like MMR, Hepatitis B and Typhoid  Dedicated volunteers and special faculty conduct free study skills training and run free hobby classes in dance, drama and art. These efforts originate from the belief that every child deserves a holistic development  Creating happy memories by organizing trips and fun outings  Creating economic independence by starting bank accounts for all the children with their mothers as natural guardians  Identifying the children’s dominant intelligence so that they get a job that is closely related to their strengths thus leading to maximum productivity and mental well being  Conducting Life Skills classes  Counselling the children and preparing them for life in mainstream society
