Astha Shakti works towards providing support in the areas of education and nutrition through its NUTRI-ED programme with a special focus on children b Read moreelonging to below poverty line families. The organisation works towards collecting data on such families which includes photographs, address and other details. Further, the organisation provides for nutritive food to such children at least once a day. Eventually as a part of this process after a period of 3 to 4 months these children are encouraged to attend school and learn further about the importance of hygiene and discipline practices. Additionally, the organisation provides support in the field of education through its interventions which include setting up of science labs, computer labs, olympiad exams, scholarships and skill development programmes.
