    The Centre for Action Research and Peoples Development (CARPED) is deeply committed to promoting child rights, with a primary focus on universalizing elementary education. CARPED achieves this through the operation of day and evening centres, encouraging parents and marginalized children, especially girls, to enrol in Government schools and hostels. Over the years, CARPED's efforts have successfully enrolled around 3000 children from Kowdipally Mandal into Government schools since 1998. Additionally, CARPED actively combats child labour and addresses child marriages. Furthermore, CARPED's diverse programs aim to improve nutrition and healthcare for mothers and children, including immunization initiatives, birth registration drives, and regular pre- and postnatal examinations in Kowdipally Mandal. Simultaneously, CARPED collaborates with the Government to enhance sanitation facilities and access to clean drinking water in villages.

Educational material on HIV/AIDS was developed in a tribal language, resulting in India's first educational film on this subject in a tribal language. Alongside these achievements, CARPED is dedicated to combating child marriages within the Gangireddula community, eradicating this age-old practice even among nomadic tribes. CARPED's commitment to women's empowerment is comprehensive, as it continuously innovates, intervenes, and advocates for positive change in all aspects of women's lives.

Their pioneering work in developing Telugu environmental education materials and training educators is highly regarded.
