Secondary healthcare is available to the rural populace at the Vivekananda Hospital at Tezu, Lohit District of Arunachal Pradesh. The following services have been offered by the health center:

Essential 24-hour obstetric facility capable of handling both vaginal and cesarean sections
24/7 access to physicians and paramedic personnelIn close collaboration with the ANMs and other medical staff at the PHC, the Vivekananda Eye Hospital has been operating as a separate entity for eye treatment. Weekly eye camps are organized by ANMs, nurses, PHCs, and other government hospitals in the villages of T Narasipura Taluk, Nanjangud, and Chamarajanagar district in Mysore district. For Rs 1000 each case, we have been performing between 120 and 150 intraocular surgeries every month using a sophisticated small incision technique.

In response to this perceived need, Manasa/Manasadhama was created to give these individuals a system that would meet their emotional, mental, and bodily needs. Manasa/Manasadhama aims to provide a comprehensive model for the treatment, assistance, and recovery of Mysore's mentally ill homeless population. The organization also aims to alter societal perceptions and increase public awareness of mentally ill homeless people.
